Maragle is a rural locality in the southeast part of the Riverina, situated approximately 22 kilometres west of Cabramurra as the crow flies, or 53 kilometres by road. The nearest towns are Tumbarumba 16 kilometres to the northwest, and Batlow 37 kilometres to the north.

It is the home of Clarke’s Hill Nature Reserve, and nearby is Paddy’s River Falls and Camping area, a great stop over on a trip through the Snowy Valleys.
