Jagungal Jamaican Jerk Seasoning

from A$6.00

Jerk seasoning originated in Jamaica, and when you cook with it you get all those wonderful Caribbean flavours. The term jerk refers to a style of cooking where holes are poked into meat to allow the spice to permeate for fuller flavour.

It's traditionally used on chicken, but go for it on seafood, vegetables, sprinkle it on your corn on the cob with lashings of butter.

Mount Jagungal or sometimes Jagungal, Big Bogong, The Big Bogong Nr., or The Big Bogong Mountain, is a mountain within the Jagungal Wilderness Area of the Kosciuszko National Park in the Snowy Mountains region of New South Wales. It’s elevation is 2061m.

It is easily recognised when you come over the gap from Bringenbrong into Khancoban Valley. It’s the big boy on your left standing far above his neighbours with the double bump. His Southern side overlooks Khancoban Valley, and often remains covered in snow for the entire winter after the first fall of the season due to the lack of sunshine it gets during the colder months.
