Cudgewa Cajun Seasoning

Cajun Spice Seasoning is one of those go to seasonings. It tastes pretty good on pretty much anything. Seafood, Chicken, Pork, Roast Potatoes, Chips, or add it to your soups and stir fries.

Some will say it has French Origins, others claim it's the spice of the Deep South of the USA.

With a brilliant combo of herb & spice, the ideas are pretty endless.

Cudgewa is a quaint little village in the Upper Murray north of Corryong. It was nearly completely wiped out in the 2019 Black Summer Bushfires, and many had to evacuate in the middle of the night and leave everything behind. Quite a few houses were destroyed.

The beautiful old Cudgewa Pub came under threat and resident owner Ralph Fair stayed behind to save it, whilst his wife and daughter had to evacuate. Sadly Ralph passed away in Sep 2020, which was a huge loss to the Cudgewa Village and to his family and friends. He was a wonderful character and the Cudgy Pub may not be standing today if it were not for his courage.
